When you work with a lot of data, maps can become complex. You may have difficulty finding the data you are interest! in, especially when viewing maps on a mobile device. In the image below, we see shipping points data from the ArcGIS Field Maps mobile app.
Each color! dot on the map represents a different type of data. For example, data with a cargo status of “In Delivery” is shown in yellow. The data is very close to each other in terms of location, creating a complex image. Although different colors are us! to symbolize the layer by type, it can be difficult to identify the data because it overlaps in some areas. The layer filter helps solve this problem.
Applying Layer Filters
With the layer filter feature, the features display! on the map can be filter! according to certain attributes. Configuring Layer Filter
The layer filter is configur! in the ArcGIS Field Maps Designer web application. After opening your map in Field Maps Designer, click on the “ App settings ” tab and expand the “ Layer filters ” section.
