Too bad you’re leaving us. What exactly are you going to do?
For Microsoft I am responsible for selling Surface devices in the Nordics, the Netherlands, Ireland and the United Kingdom. Within Microsoft we have a whole team Colleague Paul starts with different specialists and I am the specialist for Surface. Because I am responsible for such a large area I cannot possibly call all customers myself. Ideally the Account Executives know what is going on with customers. If there is a need for advice about Surface then I am called in for a deep dive session for example.
In the first months I start with account mapping to see where the needs are with the biggest customers. If I don’t know what’s going on I’m nowhere.
What experiences from your time at Paddls will you take with you?
Personally, I don’t think you can learn the profession I have now. You either have it in you or you don’t. However, Paddls has taught me things like a conversation structure and how to honduras phone number library best start a project and make it a success. The team, the people. I had a great time at Paddls. I went to work every day with pleasure, even in times when things weren’t going so well for me. That shows that the work is fun and challenging.
I think you can really see Paddls as a springboard. It may sound cliché, but Paddls promises things and really delivers. Without Paddls, for example, I would not school email list have succeeded in becoming Surface Champ. So people, get to work and seize your chances!
After that, I had an interim Delivery role. Then, in December 2020, I was allowed to start working at Microsoft. Now I am a Surface Champ at Microsoft, which is a super versatile role in which you can fully develop yourself. You start from a kind of Inside Sales function, so in the beginning you mainly call. That is nice because then you have the chance to get to know the organization.
